Isle of Mull

CALGARY 2

I have always found walking down to the bay of an evening to be a very evocative experience. Taking a walk along the north shore to the pier brings thoughts of the clearances, and the people of Mull whose last steps on the Island was from here.

When the tide is out, you can walk a long way down the beach, and may see much of the rarer fauna that can be found on the Island.

Once, on the southern shore of the bay, I followed a sea otter for a around a hundred yards as it dipped into the water, and rose to climb over the shores rocky obstacles.

The photos on this site were taken with a variety of simple cameras, and are not intended to be of artistic value. The site has been put together to reflect the things I have found most captivating about the Island, and I hope you find something in it that you can also connect to. If you would like to use any of the images, please feel free, though I would appreciate it if you could give this site credit for the image, and if appropriate, provide a link to us.
