Isle of Mull

GRASS POINT

Once the main ferry port for the Isle of Mull, it being the closest viable point of land to the mainland; Grass point is an excellent spot to put a large cottage, with just the right amount of isolation, scenery and a remarkable lack of midges.

There is good walking around the point, with plenty of wildlife to see. There are often large herds of dear nearby and an almost endless display of different birdlife.

It can be fun to watch When Eight Bells Toll whilst sitting in the main living room of the Old Ferry House, not only does it feature a number of locations around the Island, but also some great shots of the House itself.

The photos on this site were taken with a variety of simple cameras, and are not intended to be of artistic value. The site has been put together to reflect the things I have found most captivating about the Island, and I hope you find something in it that you can also connect to. If you would like to use any of the images, please feel free, though I would appreciate it if you could give this site credit for the image, and if appropriate, provide a link to us.
