Isle of Mull

IONA

Iona is the place where St Columba first set foot in Scotland, bringing Christianity to the Heathen masses.

An excellent place to visit, crossing over from the Mull mainland from Fionnphort, the Abbey on Iona however, an enormous draw for many Christian Pilgrims, has a strangely more new-age feel to it when you get there.

The Island, because of its touristic draw, has a number of interesting traders on it shores, and is well worth a taking on board.

The photos on this site were taken with a variety of simple cameras, and are not intended to be of artistic value. The site has been put together to reflect the things I have found most captivating about the Island, and I hope you find something in it that you can also connect to. If you would like to use any of the images, please feel free, though I would appreciate it if you could give this site credit for the image, and if appropriate, provide a link to us.
