Isle of Mull

STAFFA

Staffa, home of Fingal's Cave, is a stunning piece of natural architecture, formed by volcanic activity in the area just a few million years ago.

Fingal's cave though, is not the only highlight of a trip to this small Island, sout west of Ulva, and accessable from Fionnphort or Ulva Ferry. The island is also populated by a colony of puffins, a most beautiful little bird that will come and land near visiting humans, apparantly in order to deter seaguls from attacking them.

The photos on this site were taken with a variety of simple cameras, and are not intended to be of artistic value. The site has been put together to reflect the things I have found most captivating about the Island, and I hope you find something in it that you can also connect to. If you would like to use any of the images, please feel free, though I would appreciate it if you could give this site credit for the image, and if appropriate, provide a link to us.
